Geez Nokna, you're right. I'm a go-go-dog and didn't even realise it! The transition was painless!
I should have enough with 128 mb of memory... but I sometimes get carried away taking tons of pics (especially if I see an elephant or a monkey or a horse or a kitten). And I always set my camera to 'best quality', so I only get about 200 or so pics.

many things could be said about you in my part of the world. lol
i don't find any difference between high and low resolution.
most of the pictures i have sent to board members were low.
sometimes not best quality because of lighting,but ok for me.
i use them as screensavers and see a different cutie everyday.

Went to 2 places, Walmart and Office Max
both carry Lexar 128mb cards prices were:

sometimes, one of the better things with buying electronic equipment in the US, are the rebates or price matching. i haven't seen too much of this in thailand.

Nokna... I know. 100 posts in a month. I talk too much. At this rate I'll be able to a virgin again by about summer 2003. That's what I am aiming for... the 'vestal virgin' lable next to my name.
The best quality thing with digi-pix... the reason I set it to best quality is because I get quite a lot of the pics I make with the digi-cam printed out as regular pics. If I use a lower setting the pics are more than fine to view on the p.c., but they don't look half as good printed out on photo paper.
Skip, $70 for 128 mb... is not bad at all. Maybe soon I'll be able to find them here for that price too. Hopefully. Right now it's about a dollar per mb. (obviously more for smaller cards).
btw... Hawaii ... why does almost everyone on this board live somewhere exotic? sniff sniff.

$30 for 128mb is their price (thats about $100 cheaper than here!!!!!)
now I just have to call them and work out what their shipping costs are outside the states. I can't imagine it will be much for something as small as a memory card.
Nokna, I don't print the pics myself. I send them via email to the Kodak shop and they print them out. Cost for a 13x18 cm print about 30 euro cent (which is about 20 pence in the UK)
