here in the UK I am a contractor for DHL, our security measures mean that if you are not an account holder all packages will be hand searched,items mentioned previously would not be allowed to be shipped unless accompanied by proper paperwork,however if you can send on someones account then only a 5 per cent random check is carried out giving you a good chance of a succesful shipment, I would think ups and fedex would operate a similar policy as they are all goverened by the same security regulations.
