Has anyone ever ried to bring any cuban cigars back into the US?
How?
What is the penalty?
I don't smoke myself but a know a few cigar smokers and would love to bring tham back a few.
Yeah yeah I know I shouldn't and probably won't...just wondering if anyone has.

I used to travel to Canada regularly on business.
I would bring back Cubans for my boss from the President of our Canadian division. I just put them in the pocket of my suit .. about 6-8 each time and never got asked about them..
if you are only talking about a few, then it should not be a problem.. worst thing that could happen is they confiscate them .. so as long as you can handle that risk you are fine ..
You can still get them in Canada too, which might be easier, but perhaps more expensive..
I wonder about Thailand tho, with all the fakes, you should be careful, who knows where these cigars are really made???

Yeah good point on the fakes. That would piss me off.
I wouldn't know a fake if I saw one. I have never seen a cuban cigar and would guess that even if it were sealed up, it could still be faked, and re-sealed.
What a pisser.
