The police are also known to search foreigners leaving Panthip, to see if they have bourght anything, a friend of mine has some DVD's confiscated.
Mind you...just go elsewhere, I bourght another 17 DVD's this weekend.....I just have tooooo many!!

It was okay, just 2 days before. Yep, you are right, was just there today, no more DVD movies on display, only copyrighted software on display, and no more browsing. That means you need to know what you want to buy.

Bought some 'latest' DVD films back in July.
It wasn't the not so good quality that got me but the bloke with a cigarette standing up in the cinema at the
end of the film.
Here you are John, a few Baht and I'll join you in the projection room - nod nod wink wink.

The pirate Software is often the trial copy that runs out after 30 days !!!!

MBK has no pirated movies or software so I cound't find it if there was any.
However in the Panthip plaza, software is available freely. But recently there is a crackdown on Movies both VCD's and DVD's.
They sell out of the car or they take you to the parking lot and show you the catalog. I did not buy any DVD's but bought 10 Porn VCD's for 600 bhats.
The guys assured me that if it was bad to bring it back. I checked all of them on coming back and they are all fine but for one Japanese VCD that seems screwed up.
