anyone know if there are anywhere that sells new recent model fakes of Tag watches ? either Grade A or "high end." It seems that in the last year or so, they have crack down on Tags specifically, and most people are only selling the older models now, and most of them are grade B.

maddogck1, the place I mentioned at the begining of this thread had some Tags for sale. I know somebody who bought one after me, and it looks pretty good. I am not sure if it is a copy of a modern model, but it is good quality.

I bought a high end quality Rolex there at your recommendation. pretty good. thanks. I asked them about Tags but they did not had very much variety and not much new models either.

So for a "high end" fake Rolex one would expect to pay at max 4,000 baht? Has anyone found any other places to get a good fake Rolex? I'm heading to BKK in Feb. and would love to pick one up on my trip.

Also you should try using the search engine and would get a lot of threads on rollexes in the shopping section.
Personally I think that MBK is also a good place to buy rollexes basically on the 3 rd floor there are alot of small shops to buy cheap fake watches.
Just read the forum, the threads and use the search engine as it would save you from getting riped off and saving your money.

Last month I bought 3 good rolex submariner copies from a young indian street hawker on soi 7 opposite the biergarten. he started at 4000 for one I eventually got him to give me 3 for 3600baht which is more like it. they have a self winding movement and keep good time. They are NOT waterproof as a diving lesson in phuket showed. So I have 2 for 3600 still not too bad. Just dont take it swimming. A dry submariner haha. Looks good enough to get you mugged in chicago though.

You guys need to go to http://www.replicacenter.com if you want information on Rolex replicas. The bottom line is buy Japanese made if you want a cheap in between but nothing is all swiss unless you're forking over $800+ for it. Japanese datejust and presidential should be about 4k baht for the ones with 1 year warranty. Buy it in MBK from the little stands that have the pictures of the real watches on the counter. It is NOT swiss unless you're paying big money for it, even if they open it and it says Swiss on it.

I've never understood the appeal of buying fake watches. I love watches, especially good ones, but buying a fake smacks to me selling yourself short. Others may think it's a rolex, but you know deep down yourself that it's not, so where is the joy that owning a quality watch should bring you?
It doesnt make sense.
The other thing about buying fake watches is that the sellers get it so wrong. There's nothing more stupid looking than a guy wandering around bkk (or back home after his holiday) wearing a 2 dollar tee-shirt, ill-fitting and stained jeans, crappy tennis shoes and - lo and behold - a supposed US$15000 Cartier or Frederick Mueller on his wrist!
Huh? What's that all about.
Why do they always fake the really expensive ones? Why not do fake versions of more realistic watches - a $2000 tag heuer, the cheaper rolex models, a Longine or a Baume and Mercier.
On the same rant, Sydney streets are full of fat-arsed pasty skinned aussie girls dressed in $10 track pants and yet miraculously expecting us to believe the Louis Vitton bag she keeps her pasty-arsed make-up in is genuine!
(by the way, the time according to my beloved genuine self-winding mont blanc chronograph is... )

Sorry to be pedantic but it is Franck Muller rather than Frederick Mueller.
BTW Bangkok is an excellent place to buy Franck Muller watches. You can buy them at http://www.Pendulum.co.th (1st floor Emporium) at a discount to prices prevailing on the internet.
Still life seems to be catching up with Franck Muller (who said I recently 'I like grand Bordeaux wines, women, and occasionally cocaine') so it will probably be a lousy investment.
