Paid just under 10,000 B and that included the SIM card and 4 - 300 Baht SIMM recharge cards. I negotiated the package, so the phone was probably just over 8,000 B.
After loading the 4 - 300 baht SIMM recharge cards, I was happy to see the valid date was 12/04/04 as my phone number would be preserved..
After realizing how fast the contacts folder is filling up with TG/BG phone numbers, and how often they are calling me; maybe being forced to obtain a new phone number is not all bad.
What is the current thinking regarding how long to keep your BKK phone number.
Can you download your contacts list and any other data you want saved before installing a new SIMM card?

@mokewen - Doesn't that phone have a memory of its own? If so, move the numbers you want to keep from the SIM's memory to the phone's memory before you swap the SIM.
