ROFLMAO,, Last time I remember reading about the big crack-down on copied goods I was sitting in front of Panthip Plaza reading how the Thai government was so upset at the Americans and Europeans claiming that Thailand was full of copied goods. The Thai government had stated how they had severly limited copies through their ongoing investigations and arrests. I was sitting IN FRONT OF PANTIP plaza just after being offered Calvin Kleine, Hugo Boss, Diesel, Armani, Chloe, Louis Vuiton etc etc etc goods at less than 10% of their retail price,,,
and to get to those shops I had to fight off numerous copy CD DVD guys,,,
AHH Amazing Thailand.
You got to love them.

I often wonder (well, not 'often' but at least 'occasionally') if the guys in governmnet making these statements are actually clueless and simply don't know what goes in their own country, or if they know very well, but don't give a crap?

Hey I just bought a bootleg DVD today here in Los Angeles for $2,
the police do the same shit for the TV news here,
big bust to look good on TV,
But this place had 15-20 people selling DVDs for $1-$2 each
Here they do the same TV bust for designer handbags too
