Actually if you did a search on Google for "maseratti", Google would ask you if you wanted "maserati" instead.
Also note that the number of search results for "maseratti" is only 54,000 pages, versus 8,530,000 pages for "maserati".
Did you notice that the top search result for "maserati" was maserati.com if you typed maseratti.com you'd get a useless redirect page, which many guys use to catch misspellings in searches. Catching misspellings is another way to get traffic to your site, which is why they exist.
