Go to MBK. At least you can grab a snack and look at other girls.

Still think about the day that my TGF was 'looking for' shoes in MBK. After the first 2 hours she finally was succesful and made her choice. Problem was 4 hours later when we were still looking for the next pair. I said just a bit to loud in a shoe store... 'wish there was a shopping mall in BKK without shoe shops'. Never seen so many guys laughing in a shoe shop!! Even my TGF was laughing, and we left.....

Yeah, yeah.... that was funny. Wish I would have been there....
Don't know if your GF is a farang, but fashionable shoe styles seem to differ from the western 'fare'. Plus quality and materials in general are not as good as in Europe or US.

The majority of shoes sold in America now are made in China,
as are the shoes sold in LOS.
The Chinese shoes sold as major brands like Nine West or to fashion houses like BKNY are made to stringent standards set down by the Brand holder.
The kind of shoes sold in MBK are off brands or local shoe store labels and the quality is less serviceable.
Chinese shoes made for export to Brand companies have imput and almost always total design features by Western designers.
Chinese shoes for off brands are designed by local Chinese designers and show a certain lack of flair.
The shoe industry in the Phils which used to be very strong now is almost destroyed because of the manufacturing efficiency of the Chinese.
I am told by someone who should know (wife) that the Thai made shoes last longer than off brand Chinese made shoes.
A lot of shoes sold in LOS still have that platform look because everybody wants an inch or two more.
Okay now here is the sad truth!
Women never need shoes! My wife (CG) has, apparantly by her count, 76 pairs of shoes of which 26 pairs are in 'use' (which I can confirm because I can never get into the front door). I have discovered that she has 50 pairs of shoes, never, ever worn stacked like gold bricks in her closet.
Apparently, without my knowledge (well, my wallet knew)
I have become an investor in a shoe store...that only buys shoes...
and never sells them.

Women keep shoes like an emergency supply, just in case. And when a pair had met it's end she heads for the closet and digs out another pair, which of course will be replaced soon after that.
Shoes must also be bought whenever the condition is right, ie. price, colour, style, whim, not because they are needed.
Servicability? Definitely a non-issue. Women buy shoes not for need, for pleasure. Shoes need to be loved, rescused, adopted.
The way to tell if a woman knows how to dress?
Check out her shoes.
What is the last thing a woman should take off before making love?
Her high heeled shoes.
What is the last thing a woman puts on to complete her outfit before going out?
Her shoes.
If you really want to impress a woman, tell her you want to buy her some shoes. And be happy to wait while she shops, or like me, get right in there and find a pair that she thinks is so, her, and.......bob's your uncle!
Best yet buy her a real high stilletto heeled pair of shoes she will never wear outside. When she protests, tell her that a woman as good looking as her needs at least one pair of shoes for those special moments when she is going to walk all over you, because you want her to.
If you understand shoes, with women, anything is possible!
