I would like to buy clothes that protect you from cold european winters. Where could I possibly find this kind of stuff?

Why oh why did I not think of this??
Oh maybe it's the price over here.
Therefore I was thinking of the possibility of buying cheap clothes in Thailand.
Where do Thais buy winter clothes when they go to europe, or even worse to canada, in winter?
SO maybe there is a store selling "warmer" clothes.

World trade center on Radjamri: A small shop next to Isetan (I think it's on the same level as the men's clothing).
Across the street, Gaysorn plaza: the "North Face" store (check "North Face" web site).
Cheaper: a few stores in the Baiyoke 1 in Pratunam. Not much...

3rd Floor MBK, there is a couple of shops but the best is XL. Also FOS in Siam Square (I think) !!

Has anyone had an overcoat made at any of the tailers in BK. I need to get myself one for a Japanese winter. Just wondering whether they'd be warm enough.
