Take the sky-train, Silom line to Ratchathewi (N1) station. Walking in the same direction the train is going go to the first big street and make a right about a 5 minute walk on the right side. You can also cab it.

Thanks a lot BigDUSA, Your directions sound easy enough to follow. I've had a lot of reccomendations for Panthip, would you also say this is the best for computer related shopping or do you know any better places? Mainly interested in quality, inexpensive pirate software.

You will have to hit Panthip Plaza, it is heaven! Especially when you are into pirate software. Do not buy the DVDs on the street, the selection and the prices are better at Panthip Plaza. Of course you will have to bargain... If you buy larger quantities at the same store, such as five pieces, you are in a better position to get a good price.

Thanks Bandit, Cmore and BigD again. Panthip does sound like heaven, well the BKK is heaven in more ways than one too!
I won't be looking for pirate DVD's since i live in China and they are extremely cheap here (about 30-40 baht) same with the PC software but most of the software here is crap, thats why i'm really looking forward to Panthip and i'll have to give BMK a look too. Thanks again!

Hi,
Since we're on the topic of Pantip Plaza, I was just wondering, are there any good XXX DVDs there?
I've bought some VCDs from there but the quality wasn't so good. Some of them don't even correspond to the pictures in the catalogues! And there were two VCDs that actually had portions that were unplayable.
Are there other places with quality DVDs?
Appreciate any advice! Cheers!

I was more focussing on non XXX DVDs, but yes I have seen some XXX DVDs and VCDs. As for the quality of all DVDs, you can sadly enough never be sure. Some are of good quality and some not.

tons of dvd's around xxx and none xxx. prices have dropped as low as thb 130 each nowadays depending on the amount you are buying i usually take up to 20 dvd's so that is the price for them. quality is sometimes very good sometimes not so good. if they don't run i just get them exchanged!
