I will be staying in thailand for about two months after the first of the year. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I should go to purchase a cellphone, what brand and decent customer support.

go to MBK shopping center you will find tons of mobile shops on the second and third floor. check around for the best deals there!

Not sure if you've ever been to MBK before. But ..if you have not, then be prepared for a huge shopping complex with tons of smaller shops all over the place. If you like in the U.S, it's like going to Macy's and having the entire store be one huge cell phone shopping area.

Oh ... and be carefull to keep your mind on the cell phones and not the females!! ha ha ha ha!! There are many fine lookin' females walking around this place!! ha ha ha!!

I bought my cell phone at one of the stores in MBK.
