actually, I have tried it too with FrankieGirl. She was in Pukhet¨not Ubon, so the mother got the flowers - appart from that it worked.

This is a great thread, sorry for making some lame jokes about it. Me wonder, though, how you remember the excact addresses in Bangkok...
I guess "a girl named Som, work bar in Soi Cowboy, flat stomach, good English" would not do...

Mine were actually sent for CashierCutie's birthday. Had no idea what her home address was, and even if I did, I don't want her boyfriend getting the flowers.  So they were sent to " (CashierCutie real name), (Bar name), Sukhumvit Soi 33." Worked I guess, because I got my first "chan rak tur!" SMS after tha!

You could ask them for their address - or just do as CG suggested. For me, I got her address and even visited (with her permission) her room. Small (4x4 meters) and shared with 2 other cashiers/bartenders, but its hers. A package containing trip pictures got to her with no problems from the USA in about 1 week.
As far as remembering, I just stored her address in my Treo 650. I suppose paper & pen would work as well...

I just did a test... I sent some flowers to a girl of mine in BK... I know for sure I will get a reply from her from it, but I was kind of vague of her address (I told them what I knew)... I will tell you the result...
As I recall it: I did set the flower-day to be monday - so no action until then....

Works great, from personal experience. Got a "Thank you for frower' sms 20 minutes after the delivery. The company was very professional, alerted me that some of my message was not legible (their website did not accept the Thai characters and text I tried to send), and delivered on time, based on my request for shift-times.
Delivery address could not have been simpler -- "Girl Name" "A GoGo Bar name" "Soi Cowboy". It accomplished the mission.
Good people, I'd use them again.
