Hi Everyone,
Been reading these forums since I got granted access a week or so ago. What a great source of information! Definitely going to make my first trip in Feb to LOS a whole lot smoother!!! Thanks to all for that!
I was hoping someone could fill me in on where the best place to get larger sized clothes would be? I'm talking about T-shirts, jeans, shorts, shoes etc. The brand name knock-off stuff, Diesel, Lacoste, Polo etc. I am a bigger guy - pretty muscular, and I wear XL over here in Canada. 6'2 225lbs size 13 shoes.
Would MBK be a good place to go as I would prefer to hit one spot and get it all done?
Is it possible to try on stuff before you buy???

I don’t believe that XL for Men has shoes. I have seen some athletic shoes in larger sizes at department stores like Central (Chitlom and other locations) and also an athletic shoe store on second floor of Times Square (next to Sheraton). I don't remember if they had any size 13 but I got some Asics in size 12. No half sizes above size 11 seem to be available in Thailand.
You can find some bargains at XL for Men (mostly brand name stuff that is "second" quality), but the athletic shoes that I saw in the department stores were about same price as in the USA.
Maybe someone else knows where to find bargin shoes.

Try top floor of MBK, looks like a market as opposed to proper shops, loads of fake stuff but cheap and they cater for us porkers.
