Forget Thailand!
It is not cheap and a little behind the times.
I would suggest the best buy's for this type of equipment would be the USA ,although Singapore, HK or Japan can be quite good.

With Respect, having personally been responsible for setting up two networks in my former company in LOS, and I can assure high % of the equipment that was purchased in LOS (from Panthip and Distributors) ranging from cabling to printers and PCs’ was second rate, or defective and certainly not any cheaper than you can buy over the internet.
Cables ends made up the wrong way round Cable or only just hanging on.
56k PCI Modems with a max connection of 24Kbps on a line that a European Laptop could connected at 45Kbps
Of a batch of 6 “3-comm-network cards” bought from Panthip only 4 worked!
HP printer with 4mb of built in Ram, that in fact had no Ram installed, or was removed and also had no drivers
I could go on and in fact the only Components/ Peripherals that we did not have problems with were the switches and hubs, and I brought these with me from Singapore.
In my experience I would not recommend anyone to buy PC Components/ Peripherals in LOS unless you can test it before you take them home and you really know what you are doing. Although I would say Pirate software or DVDs / CD’s is so ridiculously cheap that it is worth a go, and you pay your money and you take a chance.
