Hi, anyone know if region free bluray players are available yet in BKK.And where I can buy one ?next month i'm going to BKK, I'd like to take one back with me to Europe.I already have a bluray player from NAD but its not region free and I do not want to mess with it because its expensive. All and any info welcome

As of yet I have never heard of region free BD players.

And since its only 3 regions for BD players and you probably are under Region B. Since most movie releases are under Region A and Region C is mostly in China and Russia.

Just pick up any player in Bangkok and its bound to be Region A which supports movies released in the US, Japan and most of asia which is probably what you are looking for

If you want my advice pick up a Playstation 3. Its cheaper than a standalone BD player and has way more functions and features.

More and more current movies are being released region free, so the region lock (or not) of your player matters less.
