I don't know where to go, JHolmesJr, but I have heard that there are good fakes and shit fakes, if you know what I mean.
Apparently the way to find the good fakes is to get the seller to bang or try to scratch the "glass" face and see what happens. If it passes the test then it's a good fake - if he refuses to do it then it's shit.

MBK ground floor has a good slection of good fakes. Patpong - you have to bargain hard and the fakes are not that good

I have a bowl full of good fakes, none work longer than a year. If you want them I'll send them to you. My reccomendation is save your money, buy a real "Fossil, Swatch, etc.

I bought a bad fake and it works to this day.
I paid about 80 bucks for it.
The second hand doesn't "sweep" like a real rolex, but other than that....it is still ticking.
But when I asked this question a few months back ... the majority of the people said WTC
TWD - How much did you pay for your good fakes? Did you get them in Los?

I have bought a few fakes for buddies, TAG, Rolex etc. over the last couple of years from a woman who runs a stall right at the top of Patpong 1.
They have the "sweep" function (automatic not battery) at about 1500 baht. All have been OK and still working OK

Bought two self wind Rolex knockoffs on the street, neither work. They felt heavy and I thought the craftsmanship was good enough. Both lasted about a year.
I'm wearing a Movado rectangular black face as we speak, so to speak, which is ticking away. the face has dust however and needs a cleaning. That and several others were bought in TJ for roughly the same price 10-15 USD. The Movado and my Fossil (Real, which incidently saved my wrist in my tragic motorcycle mishap in Phuket) are the only ones in action.

1st Floor MBK is your best bet. If you want a good one, make sure it's sapphire. Should cost you about 4k for a daydate/president, they start off at 6k then u negotiate down to 4k. That should be the one with the stampings on the clasp and they should tell you it's all swiss and comes with a 1 year warranty. Ask for Grade A Rolex, the bulk box it comes in will say Grade A+. They still don't have the weight of a real Rolex, the hand movement isn't smooth enough, and they are missing the serial number marking underneath the top of the bracelet.
None of the Rolex's you find there will be ALL swiss like they claim. Those cost $700+ and are almost indistinguishable, will come with a box and certificate. They probably come from Japan and some have swiss ETA movements.
Educate yourself at http://www.replicacenter.com/ so you don't get ripped off. Remember, 4k for a japanese/swiss president, so datejust should be less.

The good fake Rolexes have a serial number, green id tag, authentic looking box, etc.
I have been told that the only way to tell it is a fake is to crack it open and then know what you are looking at. They are swiss made and sell for over 1,000.00 USD over here.
I have seen one and they are pretty friggin sweet.
