The best and largest Whole-Sale Market for Garments and Bags is called Bo-Bae . It is really a huge market spread over 6 floors of a large building plus about 2 Kms. of road-side stalls leading up to this building .
To get there you could take a taxi or Tuk-Tuk and just tell them to take you to Bo-Bae .
Just for your information - one route is straight down Sukhumvit towards Siam Square , go past Central Chidlom , past Sogo / Hyatt erawan , past Siam Square & Siam Centre , past MBK , past the National Stadium & continue straight on until you come to a bridge . Go over this bridge and immediately turn right and about 200 yds on you will see the road-side stalls I mentioned .
I should mention that the merchants operate in shifts - one set of merchants occupies the stalls and sell goods from 3 A.M. ( Yes , 3 A.M. ) till 9 A.M. when another set takes over and then another set around 3 P.M.
If you want to get the best out of this Market I suggest that you spend 2 or 3 days just going around and familiarising yourself with what is available where - and then do your serious buying .

Arramsey, I wholeheartedly agree... Bo-Pae market is brilliant. Even if you don't want to buy wholesale (or in bulk), you can still pick up GREAT bargains on individual items. Stay in the hotel directly on top of it (prince palace hotel)... and hey presto! the perfect cure for jet-lag. OKKKKK it's not a cure... but at least when you wake up at 3am you can shop! And out of the heat of the day.

If I am right , the Bo-Bae Market is open upto 6 P.M.
I am not sure if just saying " Prince Palace Hotel " will get you there - but saying "Prince Palace Hotel / Bo-Bae " OR just "Bo-Bae" will definitely get you there .
And X is right - if you want to get the best out of this Market stay at the Prince Palace Hotel which is built above the Market . Who knows you might even meet up with X !!!!!!

once again....thks...u guys are great....at least i hv another plc to source for my buying. I will be staying at novotel siam sq frm 29 to 2/7. will be going to chatukchat, naraiphand, pratunam....and of course bo-bae for my buying. Night time will be CM2, somboon seafood. Any gd food around siam to recommend??

Actually tis not the 1st time doing oversea buying....just need to establish more contacts and the rest will be thru proper shipping with BG. However, since I just started and only a small timer business and can only effort to sell cheaper items, tats why hv to know more budget area to explore.
