For the word crazy (the way as we know it) there are four or five (perhaps more) different terms in Thai. Dting Dtong - When being crazy in a funny way Baa - If you don't agree with somebody and you think he's crazy (but not in a mental way) Pasaat - Crazy in a mental more permanent way Derived from Loohk Prasaat - a mental illness Loohk Chit - mentally disturbed

"Bah" is a 100% Thai word for crazy. "Ting Tong" is derived from the English words "Ding Dong".. meaning silly/slightly crazy.
