hey BK,
what about a section where people can practice their thai transliteration? people can post questions and comments in thai for certain topics. maybe thai pick-up lines. and other people can respond using their thai transliteration. even though we may be pronouncing it wrong, at least we can learn sentence structures and thai vocabulary.
don't know if this will work, or how many people would be interested. but at least it is a study group somehow.

I think such a playground would be useful, but the "Phrases/Language" section already exists and has so little traffic that it can probably be used for this purpose.
For fun and practice, I sometimes go to the ilikemassage board and try to follow some of the threads. Those would be good candidates to practice your transliteration and share our knowledge.

supaporn, the tricky part is making your posts in Thai. The forum hasn't been design to accept Thai, nor has it been formatted to do so as well.
I can definitely expand on the Thai language section to list the words in English, together with its transliteration and Thai script (in a graphic), and perhaps with a recording as well. I think that will really be help to most readers.

BK, i am already studying the thai section on your site. and it is very easy to pronounce for me. not all that weird stuff like the phrase books. also, been practicing pronounciation over the phone with my thai girlfriend. she says its pretty good. except for all the p/u lines like "how much?" and "i have very little money". but its all in good faith. told her i got the words and phrases from some other website. looking forward to more phrases.
mr. joe, i doubt that all the forum members will be learning thai. so you don't have to worry. besides, if a few of us can speak the language, i am sure we will find much more places that we have not been to which usually cater to thais. thus, expanding our adventures and places/things/girls to do. and more informative reports for the board.
