I think yoo-an is the word used for Vietnamese, and is not considered polite, the Vietnamese I know say it is about on par with jek, caek, or in english chink or gook or that sort of thing. You would use something like this: "Khun Chokdoong mah jahk na" where is Chokdoong from? "bpen kon yoo-an" he is Vietnamese

As in Das Boot. If you want to get technical, that was a British-American term. The Nazi fascist scum called them unterzeeboats (I don't know German so forgive the spelling. The u in this case is pronouned like uh oh. Ricepuke

Unterseeboots. Abbreviated to U-Boots (pronounced 'boat'). A term not really used in the UK, where the armed forces tend to call them submarines (and the people in them 'submariners').
