'Gup' and 'Kong' are often omitted.

Although 'Jaak mi look khun' can confuse her if she already has a kid... you might have that one.... !

As Seajohn said, Thai is a 'loose' language... either one works probably without misunderstanding.

The language aint the only thing that is “loose” in Thailand.

Following up on my above post, I just have another fussy question for the knowledgeable Brothers.

How to politely enquire in Thai language on timing of the last 'period' of a BG or oil massage girl ?

I like taking BKK girl to island resort. Want to have all angles covered during the screening process. Thanks.

Actually it's more like pai....

Pai Hat or Taleh (Beach / Sea)
Pai Resort (or rongraem for a common hotel)

Len Nam or Sawai Nam (lit. play in the water or swimming)
Reua Paai (row or paddle a boat (reua) )
Can be used for these different activities.... Row/Kayak/Canoe

Mualai (or Wan Nai) mi prajam duen (or men)
This can be used to inquire about the date of her regular period.

Quite a few bar girls have irregular periods though. Having her period on the
15th doesn't really has to mean her next one is the 15th of next month.

There are ways to expedite her period though...

B... or.... P..... Myself, I go for the double consonant transliteration of that letter that starts the word fish and prefer "bp" so I'd write bpai or bplah, etc. It has qualities of both letters. However it is not usually aspirated as much......... But some prefer P.... In transliteration..... and I could see why. There is the puckering.

But we all come from different accents too, so although using Received Pronunciation as a standard by which to judge variations, not all of us are as familiar or capable of it. So transliteration is tricky.

I think a good example would be how the second consonant in "Pepsi" is pronounced. May be others better.

Quote from knowntender above..."How to politely enquire in Thai language on timing of the last 'period' of a BG or oil massage girl ? "

In all innocence I read that as meaning when she would finish her last period of massage in the evening. But of course, it could very well mean when last menstruated.

Not having Thai, I am forced to use sign language at the delight, astonishment, shock and entertainment of the ladies.

You can imagine how I would attempt the brothers' interpretation of such a communication.

Ahhh ! Life's rich pageant !

(However, the word 'pantomime" occasionally comes to mind in the midst of these antics, especially if performed in the middle of a bar.

Nok Hoo.... Literally 'It's annoying my ears'.

'Puat Hooa' would mean headache...

me hoi Gluet mai. I am sure an overly agressive welshman will give a far more fluent answer.

A docile Dutchman too.... 555!

Mi Hoi Gluet Mai means 'Do you have bloody pussy'...

'Hoi Mi Gluet Mai' would be more appropriate....
