Yuut means cease, desist, "knock it off", etc; refers to actions other than forward movement on foot or by vehicle.

Jot means stop moving forward.

is there a difference (different words) for girl and woman? and is there a plural for girls (more than 1 girl) ?
------------------------------------------------------------------
In general, pooying is used for younger as well other females.

However you might refer to young (in general unmarried) girls as 'sao'.

There is no plural in Thai. At least not as we know it in Western languages.

The Thai language uses 'classifiers' in describing things in plural.

For instance girls (as well as guys) are referred to as 'kon' (people). So the structure would be:

the noun + the number + the classifier

Two girls: Pooying + Song + Kon

There are quite a few classifiers to learn in Thai.

How many can be used as 'kee' so 'pooying kee kon' (How many girls) or 'kee lop' (how many times).

Why do my caddies always yell "Yuut" when I have hit the ball well over where it should be finishing?

They also yell that a lot when I am munching beaver though so maybe it is ok in either instance.

Bro, noted you said "munching" instead of licking, so my guess, they were telling you to "stop" using too much teeth instead of tongue.---hee hee

Logical responses, all.

I will re-study my method of both putting and munching and see of improvements can take place.

Have a new question for you guys,
I had been looking at several web sites on Bkk maps and found it very confusing. Because seems like almost every other map had almost totally different names or spellings for the same streets?
So, since I'll try to minimize my getting lost in Bkk, what is the "official" names and correct pronouncing of the common large (streets, ave, roads etc) that everyone on the street will understand if I had to ask for directions.

The following seem to be the big streets where most actions located (ex; MPs and for food etc.)
1) Petchaburi Road
2) New Petchaburi Road
3) Ratchadapisek Road
4) Asoke-Din Daeng
5) Rama (saw several different "Rama"s)
6) Chinatown
7) Silom
8) Sumkuvit
