From my limited understanding it’s “Pom yak om koy kwai, krub”

Give that a try with your friends and see if it works.

"Krub"?

D'you mean "krap", where (I believe) you're supposed to "swallow" the "R" sorta not-quite-pronounce-it, or does "Krub" mean something else?

Cheers

Maybe the correct answer to this would be:

"Thammai mai ohm koy toh eng, kwai"

Hey Bros, I'm back
Quick question, notice on all these Thai learning sites, they tell U how to pronounce numbers from 1 to whatever, but nothing on how to pronounce the number "zero"--afterall, this is still a number on the phone pads for dailing.

zero = Soon
soon also means center

like Soon Praisanee = Mail Center

Thanks Bro,
Here is another one that confused me. I was looking at the Bangkok Tonight--Thai Language Guide and it said for, " What is your name"=Khun Cheu Arai
then on another part of the Bkktonight site, it list
Name=Chue, I figure one of them must be mis-spelled so I picked up the pocket Thai book and it said,
Name=Chu (sounding like Chew), Now even I know they can't all be right?
So, which one is correct for name and how exactly should it sound like?

"Cheu", "Chue", "Chu"

Believe or not, all 3 are correct, so to speak. The difficulty of transliteration is that there isn't just one standard way of providing phonetic spelling. I'll even throw in one more, "Cheuu".

To make a long story short, yes, it sounds like "chew".
