I know there are a couple of German speaking bros on the site. Maybe you can help me out.
I'd like to write the following sentences in a way that a German speaker would say them in English (assuming only a basic level of English ability) or even in half english & half german...
These are for dialogue in a book about Thailand. They will be spoken by 30ish german females on a fishing boat. One has just caught a fish and they are in a panic...
“I’ve caught a big one too.”
“Wait for the boat to stop.”
It doesn't have to be literal, just something typical.
eg... "Shizer! I've gotten a panzervagen." or whatever...
