This is just a short one, but I wonder whether any of the Thai speaking Bros can assist me? I have a non BG girlfriend from a dating site and things are going really well with her. Whilst chatting on MSN Messenger, sometimes when I pay her a compliment about her beauty or something similar, I get the reply Tjing Tjing. I take it to mean something along the lines of "really sweet" Can somebody tell me precisely what it does mean?

'Jing jing' bascially means 'really?' as in 'do you really mean that?'
Your response should be 'jing' or 'jing si'
...which means 'really' as in 'yes I do' (the 'si') adds emphasis...

Thanks Abrak. Kind of you to respond. I was reflecting on it earlier today when I got up and mused that perhaps it was the sound of a cash register and that perhaps it meant that credit was going into her mental account of opinions of me! Stupid thought, eh? Thanks also for telling me what my response should be. She knows that I speak hardly any Thai at all and will be impressed that I have taken the trouble to find out.

Thanks for the responses, Bros. No. I've not met her yet, but will go out there at the end of the year to see her. I've seen several photos of her and she looks equally stunning in all of them. We chat on Messenger or speak on the phone daily. She's never been a bargirl, works in the family business. She speaks quite good English and is utterly adorable. Doesn't care a fig about my age. She had 43 replies in one week from other guys on the dating site so that gives you some idea as to how attractive she is to Falang guys, but she seems to like me for some reason. She has removed her profile because of me. If I married her, you can imagine the response that I'd get from people over here in Blighty! But I'm seriously thinking of living over there instead. What are the chances of this relationship working? You probably dont want any advice but here it is anyway.
You almost certainly wont regret coming to Bkk - few people do.
The chances of your relationship working are not very high - yes, she isnt a BG but the dating agency route doesnt improve your chances much... not to mention 1. you havent met each other 2. 30 year age gap 3. different cultures 4. different languages 5. different countries 6. oh and err... the relationship to date is cyber.
Of course, none of this means it wont work - you should just limit your downside by taking things slowly. Come to Bkk, wait a year and if you still love her and she loves you, go ahead and get married. (If she wont wait a year, then that says more about her than you). You might even find that a year in Bkk makes you feel you want someone else entirely...
As for photos... dont talk to me about photos....

No, it depends on those being her real pictures, and her actually not being some dude that's fleecing you.
Everything you described in your story indicates that you're being set up - particularly all the information she gives you, that is entirely her words.
How about asking her to porvide you with a current picture, of her in some verifiable locality?
If you're already thinking of how cool she will look like on your arm back home, then you're starting with the wrong intentions, and have already drank the cool-aid.
