This is another translation service from Thai script to English, and the other way around. Here is the online version, but they also have a full downloadable package (for a price) that works with Windows.

I like it better than the google translate because it gives you all the variations on the word, plus the transliteration. But what you are translating from the Thai had better be spelled correctly, or the program can't find it in the dictionary (it did not recognize obvious slang spellings).
Some of you might not like it because it doesn't spit out an instant translation, but the truth is that those kinds of translators (see google), are pretty useless.
With this one, if you have a basic understanding of Thai grammar, you at least can work it out after hand, skipping the words and phrases you recognize, and focusing on the difficult stuff. And it is pretty fast.

Finally got it working! It's not a translation service, more a transliteration tool, which simply converts the thai words to English sounds. I guess, if you already speak some Thai it could be useful. Well, it could also help in learning how to Thai as well.

BK, if you move your cursor over the individual Thai words, it will give you the various translations.
In that sense, I agree, it is more of a "transliteration" tool, in the instant sense, but if you can read some Thai script, you can then move your cursor over those words you do not understand, and you will be given the various english options from which, depending on the context, you can then chose your meaning. In that sense there is no "permanent" english translation, which makes it a more challenging tool than others, better suited to those with at least a modicum of Thai language skills.
It is not perfect by any means, but I think it works better than most. Try it again BK and let me know what you think. Not that you need it.

Ah okay, got it. Nice. Actually, it translates word phases.
For example, when I typed, ไม่มีเงิน
Instead of providing word by word translation, which would have been "no" "have" "money", it translated it into penniless, broke, short of money.
Yeah, don't really need it now, wish I had it when I started out learning Thai. Anyway, it's a great tool for the new learners.
