Going to an MP I find it relatively easy to get what I want. I politely tell the papasan that 'phom chop djub djim. Phom jag dai pujing ti mi phom nit noi khang lang'

I use the term 'phom khang lang' (the hairs down there) as several TGs have told me that the Thai word for pubic hairs 'moi' is offensive to them.

I am not looking for superstar faces when I hunt for BGs to spend the night with. What I am really concerned with is if the girl has more than a few millimetres' worth of hair covering her mons pubis as, in fact, I prefer it completely free of hair.

Working on the assumption that most TGs will find it offensive having me crawl around on all fours under the bars trying to catch a glimpse of their pussy hairdos, I am faced with my only option: I have to ask them the intimate question before I BF them.

Almost 10 years into the game, I am still working up my nerve to pop the big question on a BG. But how do I set about this in the bar scene? Is it at all done without offending the girls?

I always aim to treat girls with the utmost respect possible (and practical) and don't want to be a 'naa hii' about my hairless fetish. But I am also fed up with frequent turn-off experiences of returning to the room with a BG hairy enough for me to knit a wall-to-wall carpet before I can get to the core of the matter, so to speak.

Please advise.

Greetings and Salutations

Dryborg - In any given bar, girls may come, girls may go, some may be fresh off the farm and some may be hardened soldiers but one thing usually remains the same, the Mama-san.

Find out who the Mama-san is and tell her what you are looking for and she will likely point out the girls that offer what you are looking for.

But, make sure you ask her to point out all the girls instead of giving her the impression that that is all you care about.

Buy the Mama-san a drink and have a chat.

Only one additional comment. There is a completely different word for any hair on the body and the hair on the head.

The general term for body hair on a man or woman is "kon" I don't know how to transliterate it but it almost sounds like the English word "cone" -- but not quite.

It's not possible for her to have "phom" on her pubis.

I have heard this additional word in Thai for pubic hair which is moi. If I want to find out if a BG has pubic hair and if I want to impress them with my baby Thai, I am asking "Khun mii moi...?" and at the same time pointing at her pussy.

Thanks guys!

I guess I just never figured the was a mamasan to be asked in a bar, but of course you must be right. I'll try this approach next time.

Do I actually ask for the 'mamasan' or is there a better word for it in Thai ?

MrJoe. Thanks also for the 'khon' tip. I knew the word, but had forgotten its correct application. Sounds almost like the word for 'people' as I remember...

Greetings

As a guy who really dislikes shaved pussies, I wish you guys who do would go to the Philippines..

I don't understand what the fascination with shaving is?? Does it make you think that you are having a pre puberty girl??

It is getting to the point that a large percent of the girls have shaved pussies and I find this trend disturbing.. another Western custom that is taking over in Bkk..

combine that with all the damn tatoos, body piercing, etc.. yuck ?!!!!

Bandit,

Dryborg already said he didn't want to use "moi' because it is a slang word that might be offensive to some.

Dryborg: You're welcome. The tone for "people" and "body hair" is different though.

Oh, and the word mamasan is what is used. It's an English slang that has been adopted by the Thais.

Dryborg - "Mama-san"  Short answer, "Yes".  The long answer, don't read unless you are interested in my particular understanding of history.

Long answer, others may disagree as to the history and/or the applicability but here is my view on things.

The term, used in Japan, for at least the past 100 years as far as a know, to describe the woman of a given tea house or brothel and many years later to include, Karaoke or snack bar, who was in charge of the female service staff or contacting Geisha to attend, has always been "Mama-san".

After the US/Philippine/Australian/British (Sorry if I have forgotten any nation) defeat of Japan, military and "civilian" occupation forces entered, stabilized and helped the beginning of the rebuilding of Japan, even though McArthur at the time didn't know he was useful for much more than a "Photo Op".  ;)

During the occupation period, there were 10's of thousands of GI's stationed in Japan.  What is the first thing the average GI (Military person), of any nationality, looks for?  Female entertainment/companionship!

At that time, who were in charge of what most GIs were looking for during their off duty and leave times?  "Mama-sans".  If there was anything one wanted, one asked a Mama-san.  A GI learned that term very quickly.

Fast forward to the Korean "Conflict".  First, Korean businesses that were familiar with servicing the previous Japanese forces of many years prior were already familiar with the term and because the average soldier is more likely to learn from those more experienced in combat than those from the region in which one is fighting and because anywhere there is a military encampment there is likely to be local businesses set up to "service" the established military, the term "Mama-san" was fairly well understood during the Korean "Police action", as it was also called.

Vietnam.  By then the term "Mamasan" was well established amongst the Western forces fighting during the conflict there.  And, as usual, where ever there is a relatively permanant military encampment, there would be also be bars and houses of "entertainment" where servicemen could go.  So, even in Viet Nam, in some few places, the term "Mamasan" is well understood.

Thailand, although never "occupied" by Japanese forces, still was influenced by both the Japanese that were there duing WWII as well as service men that took R&R (Rest and Relaxation) during the Viet Nam, war, police action, whatever it was.

Hence, one can find some streets and roads with Japanese names as well as many businesses that "service" men, understanding the term "Mamasan" and "Papasan".

Oaktoad - I agree with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why do Asian countries seem to import the worst of Western culture?
