Hello all I've decided to quit my job and travel the world for a while. I'm planning to spend about a month in Thailand, going to Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, and Chiang Mai (about a week in each place). Any suggestions for a minimum amount to bring if staying in 3 star hotels but having an active sex life (and yes I realize most people spend more once their in Thailand then they planned, I just want a ballpark figure if possible). Thanks

My last trip to Bangkok was 2 nights and I spent about B18000 and had a hell of a time though, that included a visit to Eden club, a visit to CP2 and 2 freelancers, opening fee for a bottle at Gullivers as well as my room, food, taxi fares and departure fee from the airport.

I like to get a s/t/massage during the day and l/t at night. I may be 56 but I'm not dead.. That eats up 1800 leaving 1500 for food, drinks, b/f if needed. $100 doesn't go as far as I would like.

Actually he is getting married in May in PI, I am the best man and have already got my routing planned through Shanghai and Bangkok, I might even get a couple days in Pattaya this time.

I usually spend 7000 baht approx per day
1000 for hotel
2000 for drinks and lady drinks
3800 for girls
200 for food
if you stick to just eating it will be a very cheap trip.
BTW I could not keep this pace up for a month
