Street vendors: from noddles soup to fried rice no more than B/.80-100 for lunch/dinner. This is very variable....
Fast food: McDonalds/Burger King/etc, US $3/set menu

I agree that you should take as much as possible with you. Whatever you don't use, then you can take it home. Unless you are like me and at times, what I take I always spend!! ha ha ha!!
But ... my budget is this:
(5 day trip)
$750 Ý- Airfare
$625 Ý- Hotel ($125 x 5 days)
$1000 Ý- Food ($200 x 5 days)
$1500 - MP Entertainment ($150 x 10 sessions or 2 a days!! ha ha ha!!)
$1000 - G-Club Entertainment ($200 x 5 sessions)

$4,875 total
Food:
I do not eat at the street vendors, but I also do not eat at the expensive restaurants either. I budget enough to include taking a the female out to meals with me.
MP:
The sideline models from: Emanuelle, Caesars, Mirage, Poseidon, Honolulu
G-Club:
Pegasus, Chateau Blanc, and Piano Club
** I am not saying again that I spend the amounts listed on each female for their services, but just what I budget. Most of the time I am way over on the budget part, but I like to have money left over and not to come up short.
And yes, I know you can get along in BKK for much less. This is just my own personal budget when I travel to BKK.

Not sure what your post was suppose to be, but I hope you were trying to be humerous with that "Japanese prick" line.
I personally don't find it that funny though. I think Japanese might have been fine, but adding the word "prick" is another. I interpret the word "prick" in negative manner.
And ... why is my amounts so shocking?? It's a budget that's all.
And I do not know how much that is in Yen. I'm an A.B.C. hense my name.
This is why I gave the amounts in dollares. ha ha ha ha!!

ABC, most of your list is on the high side, but within the bounds of reason. However, I think it's impossible for you to spend as much on food as you say without going to the nicest restaurants.

I have never spent all the money budgeted in any area yet. But ... eating at a japanese restaurant for dinner and MK for lunch for two can at times get pricy. Not to mention all the drinks at dinner time!! ha ha ha ha!! Also, I think the nice restaurants for me are those sit down two hour type meals that each course gets served individually!!
I am a wimp when it comes to eating food that might not be completely santary. I know. Restaurants can be just as unsanitary as anywhere else. But I guess I have to pick the less of two evils .... so to speak!! ha ha ha !! Thus, I try very hard to avoid the street vendors. If not, then I will be spending more time on the toilet then anywhere else!! ha ha ha!!!
