Ok, we have decided to start a little family business, something to tide the inlaws over and generate a sizable land holding.
We are going to use Grandma as a front for a loan sharking business, 5% per month and only with land as collateral. She does all the loaning throughout the village and immediate surrounds and collects the deeds, my missus hands over the cash to Grandma to give to the recipients.
We already have completed the first transaction, 20k for 6 rai and the borrowers cannot and dont want to repay the loan. So here we go, baby steps on the way to a vast land empire, even if it is only rice paddy land, I will amass all the land in the immediate area over 5-10 years and then turn it into a cattle ranch.
If Grandma gets done as a person of 'dark influence' no great harm as she probably does not have so long to live, she is getting on a bit.

Actually you made me remind of a TG, my wife's friend, whos father made out a fortune in borrowing cash to bail ppl out of jail.....biz is good for sure!
Also the idea of a cattle ranch sounds nice...I can picture the whole story "Aussie runs successful buffalo ranch...best clients? BGs families!"
