I spent 58 days in Bangkok, middle of last year, with one purpose in mind, to sample 9+ pussy. My budget for the 58 days(including return flight) was capped at £1500.
For my money I scored 17 X 9+ all-nighters, and stayed in a 350B rented room. I don't know about you guys, but it's just my philosophy that one 9+ pussy is better than two 8s, so if you don't see her on the night, try again tomorrow.
Be very stingy with your money, until you're sure you're about to score, then that's the time to spend. On a few of the girls I spent 2500, the rest I managed to get for 2000, but if you try to beat them down to 1500 you risk souring them.
Maybe it's a good thing I have limited finances, for too much money makes a guy reckless. He indulges too much. Pussy always tastes sweeter when you're not a glutton.
Anyway, I look forward to going to Pattaya in about 4 months time

Sure I drink, but only 2 or 3 beers. I mostly went into the go go bars. I'f I didn't find the right girl in an hour I'd leave, but didn't spend more than 2 hours total in bars in any one night. To tell you the truth I really can't stand the lager-lout culture, I saw enough of it in Spain.

Did you try any of the MPs? The girls there are generally above average in most aspect but abit more expensive comparatively to other girlie joints.
When are you going to Pattaya? I will be there from 28Feb-10Mar; I think Pattaya is generally cheaper from lodging to food to transportation etc etc etc, thats from what I read in this forum and other links, hopefully I am right.

you must have really been careful with your budget.
with the flight,cost of room and cost of 17 girls(lets say you gave them 1500 each),a quick calculation makes that around £1200.
unless the flight was really cheap.
£300 to last 58 days?,that's roughly £5 a day.
wish i could live on £5 a day.

I'm curious what you guys earn? I earn £6.50 an hour, with an Employment Agency, and live in a rented room in South London. None of what I've posted applies to people with surplus funds, but I've been a budget backpacker for years, and have never let a lack of money stop me from travelling.
Nokna asks what the secret to budgeting is, and the secret is 'you have no choice'. What fool would spend 1000B or more, on a room, when it's not the room he travelled all that way for. If the girl is not impressed by it say it's so you can spend all your money on her. As for the beer, it's way above inflation for this country, and you don't travel all that way for the beer either. When you're not eating with a girl you shouldn't need to spend more than 100B, and I find that I don't desire to eat as much, because of the heat.
A good money saver is a water filter, with this you won't need to buy as many beverages. Also consider using a large bumbag, so you can carry a canteen of water during your daytime walkabouts.
I'm sure there are a lot of guys out there, who are short of funds, and so are discouraged from travelling. For those interested in getting by on a small budget this is what you need to consider. You need to consider everything you spend, the sum total of all the little things really mount up. It's like lightweight backpacking, you don't cut corners with the sleeping bag, or the tent, but you eliminate most of the little items.
What I did in Bangkok most of my time was walkabout, day or night, watching people, and avoiding taxis, unless with a girl. I've read of some guys taking a taxi from the airport to Pattaya. It's things like this you have to watch out for. There is plenty you can do in Bangkok, without spending a bean. My own interest is photography, especially all those beautiful temples.
So, book a last minute flight, land in bangkok with your light backpack and just go round and find a cheap room, and hold tight to your funds.
I wanted to make a comment about girls demanding more money over the past few years, and what I think the reason for it is. There are just too many guys out there patrolling the bars and clubs, desperate for a shag, who will consider a sub 7 or 8 without first considering the possibility of getting off with the minority 9+ girls. If most guys were to maintain a high standard, having a '9+ or nothing' attitude then this would automatically lower prices for the majority of girls.
The golden rule in a bar is never pick up a girl who makes the first move(the really stunning females seldom make the first move). Waste no time in dismissing her, and be prepared to go home empty-handed if you can't find the girl you want.
The best girls are probably the rare 9+ freelancer, probably not a full time prostitute, possibly even a college student. If you're prepared to take the risk these girls are probably the best, and no bar fine either.

i stay at the same place in Patong for 700 a night.
this comes with 4 rooms bathroom,lounge,kitchen and bedroom.
and i spend a lot of time in the room with the girls.
i get value for money for the bungalow.
everything i need in Patong is within 10 minutes walk of my room,but even a 20 Baht motorbike ride will not bother me.

i would'nt say we are desparate for a shag,after all it's not difficult to find someone in LOS.

not sure about this one.
some of the girls who are now good friends of mine approached me first,including the finest lady in LOS(people know who i mean when i say Nok).
