right,lets roll.
my last visit 26 nights in LOS,1 in KL,so i will not include that.
all prices in Baht.
Hotel-19,500 and then add 2,270 Ýfor minibar,room service and laundry.
total transport-2,600 approx
Barfines-12,500
money for the ladies-78,000
drinks and food-2,500 per day approx
there are other things like buying souvenirs and presents,but i will not include those.
so around 180,000 Bt for almost a month,just less then 7,000 per day.
but it could have been worse,there were times i never paid a BF and there were times i got freebies from the girls.
on my birthday i had a party and have included the BF's in this list,but not was spent on the entire evening.
around another 8,000bt.
but 7000bt a day is misleading,somedays i would behave and not really drink and stay with 1 girl,but others,i went wild.
drinks all round and 3-4 women,but as an average 7,000 is pretty ok by me.
am now going to convert it into sterling and i know i will be horrified.
roughly 2600-2700 pounds for the stay(excluding airfare).
104 pound a day which is roughly 160 dollars.
f_ck me,no wonder i'm so poor and cannot afford to get over to LOS for a while.

As my next trip to LOS which is 23 days is only 4 days away I am in the middle of budgeting. The TCs I am taking with me are allowing me a cash budget of Baht 6500 per day. This is for TGs, food and drinks, transport, motorbike rental and other daily expenses. I usually pay the hotel bills with my credit card and expect to pay Baht 1000 to 3000 depending on the location. If I see that I am well within my budget I start to pay hotel bills in cash. If I on the other hand see that I am over my budget, I can always consider to make a cash advance on the credit card. Oh, how confusing... It might sound much to some, but I see it this way that I am working my ass off the whole year for 5 or 6 weeks of holidays...

This trip, I will be in country for 28 days. I rented a studio apartment in Pattaya for 400 per day. Supposed to be more then decent for the price. There's a excellent greasy spoon around the corner that serves dinner for 195. I figure breakfast is another 100. So far so ood, 700 per day has my room and eats taken care of. I will cut out (ouch) my daily massage. I'm thinking of staying with only two of my regular girls, Eden alumna for a week and Pooky for the rest of the time.
Eden comming in from Udorn Thani and this time she will be alone. I better stock up on vitimin V (o ya). With this women, I could really buy into the Thai girl friend illusion. 13 days.......

I went to Pattaya around 1985 with $16,000 in my pocket for a 17 day visit. ÝI had to borrow money from a friend to get back to the airport and pay the airport tax. ÝI do not remember a hell of a lot about that trip.
