What an individual gains from Los is entirely a personal thing. We each can consider what we know, as the supreme knowledge, but that would makes us arrogant wouldn't it.
The trouble with you is that in each situation you respond in a knee jerk 'I am the boy king of LOS".
Well some little TG got you to out yourself as a cheap sh_t expat looking to bang every thing that moves......

I like this little gal & even tried to get her job back for her, and really did have all intention of bringing her to PTTY last week so she could chat with the other gals there about where she could get a job.
Unfortunately the publican who let her go was convinced that she was lazy, but I would chalk it up to more inexperience than laziness (she didn't know What to do)
and my trip to PTTY was nearly a no-go till the last minute, so no time to make plans. She has no mobile so I couldn't contact her easily.
I myself was saying on here last week that the girl who got her things stolen from her apartment (cvntry Road?) should be lucky enough to have someone buy at least one of those items as a gift to cheer her up.
Those sort of situations differ though. She (cvntry Road) was not directly asking for money for nothing... (i.e. no payback)
Yes, she (Chipmunk Girl) calls it a loan, but we all know better, except for your good self..
and I'm no boy king of LOS, (first off, I'm NO boy) but I've certainly been here long enough to know and see plenty, yet you continue to disrespect us locals including Klepto.
Even Klepto has become civil as of late, yet you continue to try and be super-moral and high & mighty.

LY for a guy who knows little of the disputes on this forum and the history thereof, you certainly want to be known as one of the boys, knowledgeable and all just because you live 'full time' in LOS.
Well the difference between you and the 'boys', is that more than a few of them would have given the girl the 1,500baht, shut up about it, and win or lose, mark it up to life in the LOS.
Whereas you, like some wise ass, trash the girl as a bad investment before you even give her the benefit of the doubt, just for 1,500baht and a chance to start another thread to talk about your 'Boy King of LOS' adventures.
I know enough about LOS to know that ALL the TG's are not as you expect. Looks like you still have a lot to learn.
I paid due respect to Krypto, his wife and his kids. And that after an extensive battle. But he chose to forget that respect should be given in turn. And that I will not forget.
The best thing about this? The next time some TG asks for a few bucks from you, she'll get it. Because you will just have to prove to yourself who is right.

I don't think I trashed the girl as a bad investment. I don't even consider it an investment. There will be NO payback, unless it's immediate. No long term payback expected !!!

you just don't get it. If you gave money to every BG who asked it of you then you'd be escalating from :
1,500 to
3,000 to
9,000 to
15,000 and who knows where...
not to mention the amount of BGs who a person can become intimate enough with to ask for money is also exponential

I agree, I would not give it up unless I knew I could get it back, otherwise it just keeps coming and coming, if you can get it in kind, then that is ok if that is what you want, but you have to get something for it. You cannot just keep giving all the time and expect nothing back than just friendship, because then the friendship becomes a bit thin time after time.
I had a a girl make comment to a friend of mine, he said why didn't she get me to buy her a new phone when she lost her old one. She said ' if I asked him to buy me a new phone, he would tell me to fcuk off ' I kind of liked that knowledge that she would not expect to much from me, also I know that if she ever really was in trouble and needed it, she would ask and I probably would help, because I would be reasonably sure that it was genuine then.
