I used one of those Canadian ATMs this weekend. Worked great but I threw out my back carrying the moose pelts back to my car....

My CIBC ATM card always works fine, last time I noticed though, it converted the Baht to USD and then took the Canadian equivalent out of my account in USD.
I think Canadian Beaver pelts are much better than Moose pelts!

Yeah, but it is harder to get change for the higher demonations such as Beaver Pelts especally on weekends....

Moose, Beaver I notice no difference. Still have to go and get them exchanged into Baht.
The TG's still don't want to take them in exchange for ST or LT.

I've used my RB debit card exclusively for five visits since 2002; for the most part it has worked fine. There will be the occasional rejection, but I can't name any specific banks or locations.
While in BKK I like to use the ATM in front of the Landmark, as it is inside a closed booth and has never let me down.
Seems to me that there is a thread buried in here somewhere that states the RB has a commercial branch somewhere in BKK; you can't do regular banking there, but if you lose your card they can get you a new one pronto.
