I am not Indian, not of Indian heritage, I grew up partly in France and partly in Morrocco, partly in England.
No, no schemes, just curious about stuff like this, since I became fascinated with the hawala system and was thinking what if some Indian or Pakistani trader just used runners to go to banks and deposit money.
That's what Colombian cartles do in USA and was wondering if it was possible in India.

You idiot, there is a difference with hanging out with friends and buying them some drinks and giving it to some charity. Yes, it is my personal choice as to how I want to spend my money. So, if I don't want to give money to some charity which in the long run won't have any positive effect anyway, then it is MY CHOICE. I guess you put most of your sallary in a charity. Ofcourse you are one of those holier than thou pricks.
Also, Mr. Apollo, can't you read or what? I specifically asked you to not reply to my question about the banks and was aimed at anyone who has knowledge about Indian banking, be it a foreigner doing business in India or an Indian forum member. Which part of the request did you not understand?

Lets see now, you are fascinated with the hawala system? That does not use banks... LOL You are interested how to do money laundaring or use money to fund terror, such as is done by Colombian cartels, or Al Qaeida? LOL interesting you are interested in this. Now why on earth do you wonder about India doing the same? Hahaha you don't think anyone will be foolish to tell you or identify himself as being part of the Indian hawala now would you? Yes, Hawal does not use banks for transacting money immediately, but use banks later on when settling import/export dealings, on which they usually cook the books to include the hawala transactions with real transactions. Get it?
No, no, I don't want anyone with hawala connections, I just wanted anyone with knowledge about the banking system in India. Simple stuff like, suppose I was an Indian, could I just wire $200 or $500 to someone in say England relatively easily? Like I can do in France, or Canada or England?
This has nothing to do with whether the guy answering the question is connected with the hawala system. I mentioned the hawala in the first place to give the reason as to why I was interested in knowing about this.

What is it with you? I guess you never get curious about anything in your life unless it is directly connected to something concrete like your job or life. So Mr. Apollo is never curious about how stuff works, or could work. In your own juvenile words, LOL, LOL, LOL.
Also, as I mentioned earlier, why would someone need to be connected to the hawala system to answer this? Suppose if someone asked me, "could a Canadian send money from Canada..." I would answer, yes, and tell him the max amount, etc. etc. Now does that make me some sort of criminal mastermind. Only to you I guess.
Anyway, keep living in your small world where curiosity is frowned upon. Good for you. Live like a sheep. Follow everything that is conventional, never get curious, never ask questions... Ah typical. You sound like those solid "C" grade students I used to know in school. Not too bright, not especially dumb, just average, painfully boring and average.
