Yeah I agree with Nokna, as a back packer during my college years, I did what you did and I had a great sleeping at YMCA but I think most of the members already paid their dues and they like to enjoy finer things in life when they are on vacation in LOS or somewhere else.

Hello all
I agree with Sandiegon that after you pay your dues and earned a few extra bucks for luxurys its hard to go back to the old days when you HAD to budget cause you didn;t have a choice. I remember my 1st trip to Las Vegas back in 1982. I had a total of 150 bucks for 3 days in Vegas ( Already had my plane ticket bought 200 bucks round trip) and I had no other means of getting anymore if that ran out no credit card or any other money in my bank to get at. I Had to play nickle slots and 1 dollar blackjack find the 2.50 all you could eat buffetts and anyother cost cutting tool you can use. I remember haveing 20 dollars on the table one 1 hand of blackjack and sweating like it was a million cause in those days it was. I had a blast.Now 21 yrs later I stay at one of the strip hotels play 25 dollar a hand blackjack and play the dollar slots. I do stiill go to the buffetts though cause I like to eat a lot and pay little LOL LOL I am sure you can do bangkok for dirt cheap if you so choose as you can still do Vegas rather cheaply too But why not enjoy the fruits of your labor if you have the means Rock on guys
