Well, you pose the question:
How many guys really want to know the truth?
The answer, judging by the evidence on this forum and elsewhere, would seem to be 'rather a lot'.
Which is unfortunate. One thing Thais understand with ease, but farangs have difficulty with, is that 'the truth' can be both unnecessary and destructive. At any event, it is one Western idol which doesn't import well.
Sure, you're also right that many guys have learned to be happy with their 'hansum man' fantasy. And why not - fantasies this good don't grow on trees back home. I think you can reasonably require your hired TG not to damage this commodity, and 9 times out of 10 she will have the good manners to make sure she doesn't. Arcadius you are right but TGs are just the same. I cant think of the number of times that a TG has sneaked a peak at my mobile phone mesages to see if I have any other 'gigs'. And when she finds out that I have others what does she do? Throw a spin... and then nothing. It is human nature.
So it is simple. If you want a TG that is faithful to you and you only... go ahead check her out. If she is seeing other guys dump her. But if you think that catching her out is going to change her ways then you are sadly mistaken.

I suspect many sponsors (especially the more experienced ones) don't actually think this and could accept practically everything you say. They are buying a pleasant illusion they can well afford and are aware of it's limitations. The guys who 'don't want to know' are often billed as idiots, but in my view they are playing the game realistically.
If I'm involved in a GFE, I can thoroughly enjoy the illusion I'm buying without really believing in it. I certainly don't need people coming up and telling me that she doesn't really love me, she only sees me as a walking ATM &c &c. You know - like I got off the plane yesterday. I think a lot of guys are quite capable of applying the same deliberate self-delusion to their sponsorships and getting all they want out of them regardless.
The problems always come when people insist on trying to convert fantasy into reality. They don't get the latter; but can easily destroy the former and end up with nothing but a slimmer bank balance and a sore head.
My own view is who needs reality when you've got this instead? Reality is the crap you're escaping from when you come to LOS, and the constipated little rules of serial monogamy are part of it.

There are many variations on sponserships and I have seen many a girls who are happy to sit in their one room apartments watching their Thai soap operas and wait for Big Daddy sugar to arrive. I would put them in the lazy category. No 2nd timers here.

Such an honest letter I have never received in my life. I should have kept this classic.

Of course you have "rights" as a sponsor.......but not necessarily monogamy!
