I worked with one eccentric expat who lived in Thailand for about 3 years. He tracked by spreadsheet how long it took to commute back and forth from Pathumthani to Sukhumvitt Soi 3. He had stats on everything. i.e. time savings with newly added flyover etc..
He left the factory exactly at 4:00 PM, if you were riding with him too bad if you were 1 minute late he was gone. I also showed early.
The kicker one night the traffic was horrendous. He just sat there franticly typing in his Excel spreadsheet on his laptop. He called his wife to have her go out on the balcony and scope out the traffic situation. When he was sure that his average commute time was going out the window. He calculated how long it would take to walk from the backed up Suk off ramp to home. Then he got out of the car on the Expressway and walked home. Unbelievable. Driver just sat there shaking his head, probably thinking “Crazy Farang”
The next day he was proud of his accomplishment of saving his average commute time.
Now he is actually VP of this Forture 500 company

what do you tell the girls who bring up the fee on their own?
Surprisingly rare - I've found that if you don't talk about money, they won't either. If a girl does bring it up the subject herself, I take it as a very negative sign because mercenary BGs tend to be pains in the butt all round.
Of course, they can tell if you've been knocking around a bit. I wouldn't recommend this technique to newbies, because I think the girl needs to have confidence that you know what you're doing.
I started experimenting with the 'open contract' routine about 18 mos ago, and have stuck with it for the simple reason that it produces better results. At least, I know it produces better results for me with the kind of BGs I go for ('nice girls' rather than hard-bitten types). YMMV.

Sh it more competition, LOL Agree totally with you. They know what they should be paid, a fair amount.
