She had already started her lunch and barely took the time to explain the situation to the coppers.
The folks here put mealtime above many things, incuding common courtesy...

When it comes to protection from theft as to home or business I'd gladly get coppers lunch now and then when they do thier rounds.
When it come to protection from others drinking/drugs and driving and crashing into me and others I'd gladly tip a copper.
It did come few times in bars or alone with bad assed drunk bar girls bitchin and tryin to extort BS and baht from me. The security/browns that I'd been residing were tipped 100 baht and gave me protection or kick BG ass outta my life.
So yes tippin or giving food/shelter to the street sweepers does help against the bad asses out there.
