It doesn't really matter that BGs could live on B10k a month. Like everyone else accustomed to much higher earnings, they will be very unwilling to live with a big reduction unless they have to.
I don't think you get very far working out to your own satisfaction what other people need. Unless they are wholly dependent on you, they will be more inclined to judge for themselves what they need. On the whole, BGs will try to avoid becoming financially dependent on you because they have little desire to be controlled by you.
If you have any sense, you will also avoid becoming emotionally dependent on them. Else you run the same risk in reverse.

I was getting laid as well

Some of you have tasted it. Some are just trying to say the logical thing when not in the middle of it.
