Why do you feel that this World Cup sucks, sandiegon? Personally, I think it is great. The Aussies are undefeated!

Sandiegan I am impressed I haven't played much in years......often wish I'd played more....I've netted with a couple of test players in my time...two Pakistanis playing in the UK in the 70's 80's...that was enough to tell me that I would never be famous...LOL As for the World Cup...I agree......I'm sure Whisper is enjoying it...but australia are so dominant the only interest is will they stay unbeaten. Thank God India are showing some form....the major threat to Australia once SA went out....I think SA would not have threatened Australia in all honeaty....but India if they bat first and perform to their ability would beat any side on their day.....Tendulkar v McGrath....a nice prospect for the final. Sadly at least two of the teams do not really deserve their place in the last six....but there's also nobody other than say the West Indies (who lost an easy win through rain) who can feel hard done by not to have taken that place.....

I tell you why this world cup sucks.. I know you being aussie enjoying their domination in this game but don't you want a see some matches which got down to last over or last couple of balls. Right now no matter what other team does, Australia has answer for every thing.. Look at the game between qiwi's and aussies.. even after loosing 7 wickets at 84 they able to put over 200 and get new zealander out around 120 or so.. only interesting match i saw so far is very first match between west indies and sa, and aussie/england match biggest drama of this world cup is beside aussies.. everybody is playing for themselves not for the team and some of the decision were made in this world cup makes no sense what so ever.. First match between Pakistan/Australia -- Why the f_ck Waqqar Younis choose to bowl first knowing that Pakistan hardly wins any matches when they chasing the run especially against Aussies.. That decision put lots of pressure on paki's batsman to perform right away againt best bowlers in the world.. Same Scanario between Sri Lanka/Australia.. Another thing I like to see is getting rid of this is stupid duckworth rules and point system... West Indies just purely had a bad luck and despite the good performance they were out of the world cup. Secondly in super six every should start from zero.. Australia carrying 12 points and kenya carrying 10 points, they only need to win one match to qualify.. doesn't make any sense.. (this super six point carry on makes supre 6 really boring) well thats my cents... 16 days.. to go

I totally concur, sandie. From a non-Aussie point of view there haven't been very many exciting matches, that's for sure. I also believe that quite a few nations should not have even participated but try telling that to Kenya. I don't understand the Lewis-Duckworth system either but the authorities, in a bid to make the system fairer, have just made it more complicated. I like to keep things simple. I agree - a Tendulkar-McGrath battle will be great to watch, as long as the Aussies eventually win! Which reminds me - I'll be in LOS when the final is being played. Does anybody know what time in BKK it will commence and where it can be viewed? one day to go!

It'll probably start somewehere around 2 pm....as long as it's not a D/N match. There is a list in the Bangkok Post every day of venues showing the matches as it is not available on Thai TV as such....it's on Indian satellite which many bars receive. The Londoner is one place where I watched a game for example.

The day games start 3.10 and finish 10.15 BKK time. Not sure about d/n - I presume they would start at the time of the 2nd innings - 7-7.30 which means the game might not finish b4 2am closing - which is a worry.
