It's true you do get a Better Rate for Hundred Dollar Bills!
The wife had a friend from our Town go over last week, Naturally she wanted to send some Money to parents and all monies had to be $100 Bills. I asked what's the difference it's ALL CASH Money! Wife stated that in Thailand they give More for $100. Thailand mentally won't Change.
The reason has to do with counterfeiting, which is fairly common in that part of the world. The US $100 bills have better anti-counterfeit protection, and the people who handle money are better trained on the $100 bill than smaller (less widely used) denominations.
The money changers actually pay more for travelers checks than they do for $100 bills, because so long as they follow the prescribed identification checks, the TC companies guarantee to cash the checks even if they turn out to stolen (sort of like a retailer guaranteed to get paid by the CC company if authorization is obtained in advance, even if the credit card turns out to be stolen and the cardholder does not have to pay).

Well it happened today,, Canadian dollar ABOVE US Dollar,,, those Canuks are gonna have some fun with this one
$US in free fall again,,it may save a few of us from some of the unwanted obese/loud/obnoxious crowd
But then again,, the pound is going ok, Euro good and Aussie dollar ok, so who knows ?

Matter of fact, the average weight of an Amerikan is so high now, that apparently the weight capacity of U.S.-made autos is being surpassed. The average weight of a passenger used by the manufacturers is 170 lbs; this was from back in the day when the wives typically weighed less than the husbands. So imagine those poor little rubber tires grimacing under the load of four 300 lb female heifers. That's why we are now Medalists!

I still have legal action pending about Mcdonalds Australia advertising the 'quarter pounder" surely its the 113.4 grammer?
I await refunds from software suppliers that cannot repair significant errors as simple as the fact there is NOT 29 months in a year,,, so 07/29/2007 has no meaning.
