I don't know how you could have a pleasurable life living in Bkk on B50K a month.. even if you owned a condo.. that is only B1700 a day .. taxis, food, etc would eat up half of that .. we are talking about pleasurable life, so that as a rule means you don't eat at food stalls for every meal and you don't take the bus.
My budget for my trips to Bkk is B3K per day for pleasure (excluding lodging).. that includes eating at good restaurants almost every day and about every other day having a massage/BJ, etc .. the g/f takes care of the rest of my needs.
