well, I will have to diasagree with your comments. When you are up in the village and the family lives in a shack with dirt floors, no beds, living like animals and she won't ask you for money? She will, that is why she is working. To take care of her family. Love isn't the issue, this is a 50-50 game, 50% love and 50% security for her an dher family.

from my experience with TGs, even if they have their own job and can get by on their own, they'll still expect the man to support them when they move in to live together
there are exceptions, but few and far between 
of course the security vs. love thing varies, some only rely on the security by 25%, if they have their own job and can actually support themselves
I am talking about women with legitimate (not illegal) jobs
sometimes money matters less, especially if you're an uninteresting guy, or just a prick, LOL 
but on the other hand, if you're a nice guy and can show them a good time, keep them interested, the money again will matter less, unless of course your idea of keeping them entertained is sporting her off to Phuket or another island to stay in 5 star hotels every weekend

40,000 baht is a good figure. Anyone who think that a lesser amount will do for a p4p girl has rocks in his head.
Why cannot you realise that she is on the game to make cash, if she give up the game for you then someone somewhere somehow has to replace the cash she is earning to live and support the family she obviously went into the game first off to support.

And what about girls who do not have to support their family? After messing with Issan girls whose mothers are gamblers, too much in debt, etc., I found a pure Bangkok girl whose great grand parents were born in Bangkok. As far as her being a "pure Bangkok girl" ! They are out there, but I would advise against taking her statement on face value. Get a (good clean) copy of her ID scan it and send it to me. I will have her place of birth verified.
If she is telling the truth I will buy you dinner if not then you owe me dinner. Ok!

Privateeye, can you please tell me how do I verify the place of birth. Is it in the Id card? I just want to know. I really don't care if she is born in Bangkok or Berlin. At least I don't get all those sad stories how her mother needs money, family is in debt, sister cannot go to school etc., BF has motorcycle accident etc.

I just don't get it. If you find your girlfriend in a gogobar, a beerbar, a massage parlour or in any P4P environment, why would you waste time and mental energy wondering if she's a good girl and trustworthy. I would have thought the answer to that is pretty bloody obvious.
There are millions of girls in Thailand. Most of them are trying to make a better life for themselves by studying or working. Wouldn't they make better gfs? If you're going to sponsor a gf, why not find one you have at least a reasonable chance of trusting? Why sponsor a hooker?

yes, I know a few who are taking money from their BF/hubby to finish college, but they are living together already
