For the fellow Aussies out there:
St George has Baht exchanging at AU$1 to BHT27.???? . I saw this yesterday while walking past its headoffice in Sydney.
Thats pretty good when you look at its previous history. It has been higher but not for sometime now. The Australian economy is one of the worlds fastest growing ones and this should only prove to help our dollar against the weaker currencies. (USD is still yet to find its feet again so in the mean time the other currencies are slowly growing stronger - YAY to the little men! ;)

Sorry max for the tardy response but I failed to notice.
There's a money changer in the market behind the main Thai Intl office building on the highway (Vibavadi-Rangsit) between Sutthisarn and Ladprao Rds. Gives a little better than bank rate for dollars.

For us europeans, You can change euros pretty good in Thailand.
Best I got was 42,++, but you better be careful and check rates here and there.
In Pattaya I noticed there was very different rates:near Walking Street numbres were 41,++ but around soi 7 You got the 42,++.
Swiss franc was 23-24,++
