In Aus AUD $ 12.50,, that's US $11.75,,,,,!!!! I might moove to the US,, AHHH nope,, Daffy lives there.
ATL don't let the exchange rate ruin your holiday,, mate it was only a few years back the Aus dollar was buying 20 BAHT,, I still had a good time.
Just need to be a little less generous with the RELATIVES.

On-shore and off shore rates seem to be very mixed and confusing at the moment.
Just as we where all getting use to off-shore rates being some 5-8% worse ( from a farang view), now it seems at parody,, or in case of the AUD WORSE??? WTF?
bangkok bank is showing 28.79 but off-shore XE is showing 29.24,,, I smell a rat!!!!!
I want to make another purchase in LOS and when I saw 29.24 off-shore, I was quickly preparing the money ( expecting 30.5 + onshore).
Similiar story for the USD,,
I can only assume the Thai Baht has taken a smacking in the last 24 hours ( Bangkok bank quotes are from Friday).

If y'all do not like the exchange rate between the US Dollar and the Baht you might consider Vietnam instead:
US Dollar Strong in Vietnam
It appears that along with Indonesia the dollar still can get you value in HCM...

China,, I've been to Vietnam 9 times,, yep was once great value. You actually use to pay for most things in $US. It's not cheap anymore, well not as cheap as it use to be. As with most places, a bit of local knowledge and language cuts prices by a huge percentage.

Until the US rids itself of daffy like people I can only see things getting MUCH worse, for you, and much better for me AHH those cherries are not up to Aus quality but they sure taste sweet.
