Much better places to relax than some trumped up hotel and disco bar that reminds you of saturday night fever.
The fact is that Gulu hammers the Bangkok life and preaches the upnorth and country living as so cheap and so good....simply because after losing his hard saved funds he cannot afford the Bangkok life.

Well Ravan, I think its not Guru who needs the therapy, there is no need for you to attack other BMs, I still think you need that visit to Toxic and TL, take a week there to relex, all services provided so you do not need to worry about looking for anything. Ask for the Elit voBKa, if you are lucky they may still have a bottle availabe for you. After you are done with that, I am sure you will feel much better....

One that needs cooking.
If he isnt stooping to "bitter hateful " comments that extended to even a deceased Father recently gone.
He now tries to play the I am poor cant afford Bangkok card.
Anyone with commonsense would disguise the destination to family or friends for years as being a "starting point to finer parts of Thailand"
Its own newspapers refer to the traffic congestion and pollution as the worst in the world..ever!
And that never in history have people had to live in the conditions we endure each day.
Ordinary people see that its true with the fog of soup like smog on arrival and the masks worn by anyone working on the tolls and streets.
Back west immediate doubts are cast when the word alone "Bangkok is raised" on your intensions there such is its dirty appeal (outside of the temples and cultral history) Basically the view is unless you stopping over to shop, or occupy a business oppurtunity, you are most likely a sex deviate.
I would always have Hotels in Phuket or north booked to avoid those assertions silently made in glances.
People have seen the Blind and crippled beggars crouched in the corners with cups. Heard the filth roar of buses and tranced out resigned faces of the workers in their trapped lives.
Felt the mid day humidity and stepping out of their cool hotel with some hot 20 year old go go girl on the way to dinner movies, and bowling followed by a few drinks and music and hot sex all night.
They know its a great place if your staying like this.
Skytrains save you the traffic, its all indoors.
But to dwell there like a rat?
To have the stupidity and/or audacity to say another is jealous?
The funny thing is the north complete with open farm roads a motor bike and its specatular beauty and mountain mist in morning, and reds sunsets at dusk, isnt even in the same league as Bangkok.
And its ( Bangkok) the last place I could suffer.
I am not a poor man, but wouldnt sell an inheritance or leave family or jobs to dwell there, with nothing better to do than score pathetic points on some forum to ease the burden and bordom of life as a f***ed up rat in Bangkok breathing in its shit lies and vemon.

Talk islands or north now theres a place worth running to....at least a while.
Sure if I owned a disco or Massage place or Eden club. id reconsider.
But if I was a two cent floral shirted prick that hides on key boards like this goose......no thanks.

I would think a rat would be more likely to take the subway than BTS. 
Both are closed after midnight, though.

Had enough small business earnings from stores up north to carry on.
I just thought under all the circumstances I would go Via Vietnam and on to Sydney.
But if this guy is happy believing otherwise (that I lost $400,000 there fine) either way I had a hell of an adventure and just inherited that twice back again.

Truth is telling punters not to do this (move there) is just your own fears.
And I am proof that you can not only happily do it, go home and get new jobs etc, but if you want even stay.
But another sad truth was that dispite the country life being gentle and something I will treasure.
I screwed up a great relationship, and resigned myself to the fact I wasnt going to change.
I have a new project (uni girl in Chiang Mai)
And I am visa running her here for the winter.
I can go swim with the dolfins north with her for a two week break at my new house.
Have her warm my winters nights in sYdney, and enjoy the "best of both worlds"
The next move I make there will be more considered (last time I followed my heart) but butterflied in the end too much.
But 2 million is easily enough to get off the ground and live a happy existence.
One where the love of the woman North that you will meet, wont turn you into what these Nay sayers are
bitter and hurt.
