Glad to hear that no one is tring to beat/ kill anyone on this board at the present time(G).I don't take offense at what other's may write on this board nor do I expect to apoligise or receive an apoligy from anyone. I write what I think and for the most part I aim my writing toward the guy who has never set foot in LOS and who can be dassled by the g/f experience and taken for a ride, emotionally and finanically.
I've been a butterfly and I've hooked up with b/g for more then 3 days at a time. I've hooked up with Pen for at least a week or a little longer the last two times, I've been to BKK. I bought her a pair of walking shoes so we could hike around the temples without her having sore feet. It was funny when we went shopping she wanted two pairs of shoes. At the end of my stay, she told me I gave her dignity(s), respect and I treated her like a women and yes I paid her a 1000 baht plus taxi every day. Pen is a poor women with a 15 y/o daughter who she supports and is worried about what will become of her. I could have stayed for free with Pen and played her for a fool and grind her face in the dirt but that's not my style. I could have lied to her and told her there a future with me, but that's not my style. Many guys want to forget that what we have with the girls is a business arrangment that both sides find aggreeable. I offer 500 s/t and 1000 l/t it's up to the girl to accept or reject. I put no pressure on her. If I'm a cheap charlie why do the girls give me their mobile number and are glad to hear from me? When I see them in the bar, they come up to me with a big smile on there faces and want to know if I will barfine then again. CJ and Mr Joe you guys are in the business, why do the girls treat a cheap charlie this way? You would think the girls would ignore or run the other way when they see me.

I am NOT in the same line of busines as CJ, but my opinion on why the females will continue to see you, even though you pay them 500 s/t and 1,000 l/t is $$$. Why turn away money that is there to be made. I am not saying they are not attracted to you, I'm just stating that money talks, so to speak.
But, I will say that I am sure given the choice between 1,000 baht for l/t and another client who offers them 2,000 l/t , I would imagine that most females would go with the hire amount. Again, if they knew both clients and were attracted to both.

BigD, I don't think anyone (and certainly not I) meant to single you out. This is all about what is in one's heart when they pay a girl, as much as how much they pay. My contempt is reserved for those who seem totally careless of the ladies and just following some arbitrary, and insensitive, "rule" for how much to pay, regardless of the fact that the forex range shifted severely 5 years ago, and so on.
You do not seem to be one of the above, to me, you seem to be human and to have a heart beating in your chest. For which I am happy.

After reading all the comments on this topic, I have a couple of my own.
500 baht = $12. ( 40 baht = $1)
1. Those people who haggle the amount down so that they only have to pay 500 for sex or only are willing to pay 500 are probably doing a great disservice to the females. They have to make a living and you are just making it even harder for them.
The people that spend that little and live either in Asia, U.K, or the North America, why don't you wake up. How much do you spend on a movie, gas for your car, lunch at a restaurant?? Come on. You spend more at those places then you do on these females??
I am sure that many of you have been to the strip clubs and all. $12 won't even get in you the door let a lone a lap dance. And you are paying these females that have sex with you the same amount????
Just think about this before you pay the females!! How would you like it if your job paid you the same rate that Thai people get paid for the same job??
I am not saying pay them the same amount like you have to in the U.S, but pay them more then what you would spend at McDonalds. It's not a question of overpaying them, but really a question of just "paying" them .. if you get what I mean!!

I agree with ChateauJade on the amounts many of İthese females make. Some can make in excess of 200,000 baht a month. And the ones that say that they only make a little bit or that you are their only customer are just giving you the "sugar/ sweet talk". Okay. That was a general statement and of course there are exceptions to any rule.

2. Off the original topic, but why is it that only a few people on this board have had sex with average looking Thai females. Most people are rating these females as 8's, 9's, or 10's. I am not going to go that much detail or comments into this side topic, because it seems to have been handled.
It's one thing to dissagree or even hate and have choice words with a member on this forum. We do not all have to like one another.
But ... it's another to talk shit or threaten their family, wife or girlfriend or even children. Any member İthat does this towards another member walks a very tight line between reality and getting their ass kicked!!

No expat oil worker with sand still in his shoes is going to show up at my door with a couple of rented police privates -- what would happen would be that a police general would call one of their hand phones, and then THEY would beat the shit out of the hapless fool who brought them here for endangering their careers (or worse).

I think we can all agree that getting into pissing contests about who has the scariest/most impressive connections ends up getting a little ridiculous. But is is hard to resist, as it is something of an accomplishment (or piece of luck) to have gained such connections. I know that I havve to resist the urge to bnoast of mine.
In any case, it is true IMO that in general a visitor (even a frequent one) shouldn't get into any real matchup of connections. They will almost certainly be disillusioned by how tenuous their connection really is, and worse they will reap not only the consequences of losing the conflict but the connections on whom they depended will now blame them for the loss of face. (Did that make any sense? It was supposed to.)

MrJoe, I am not sure why you feel you need to be afraid of the retired Pol Gen. You are not a speed dealer from Suphanburi, as far as I know. He is rumored to have summarily executed 100 criminals in his career but as far as I know none of them were farang. (Had he been in charge after the recent bank robbery and cop killing things might have been different.)
He's a servant of the Monarchy and does what he is told. Eight years as Royal Police Escort. It was the Palace that finally told him to drop the V1 thing like a hot rock and he did so. He had been conned and used badly in that matter, they (the V1 'inventors') played to his ego. I was asked to help with publicity, I demurred, it was easy to see it was a scam and also easy to see that the General had fallen for it totally. Sad really, he lost about 40 million baht. And a lot of face.
