Yes, Emporium suites will do a deal if you stay monthly, and pressure them !! - re the guys food budget, surprisingly cheap, as he gets breakfast there, likes eating basic Thai, so most days the food court at emporium, where 100 bt worth of coupons will get you all you can eat, and at night often a seafood place, the one near soi 31 Good, where you may spend 300/400 bt on Prawns/Crab etc. - so probably 500 bt on food tops, that of course by far the cheapest part of his budget !

I am expecting to go over budget in the first week, with it all being so new, I'll be like a kid in a sweet shop. But then I'll slow things down, and chill out a lot more.
As you say, may find myself a cute freelancer for 1000 per day, with no bar fine. If I have to pay a bar fine it would have to be every other day.

It's definitely worth it even if it's just to take a look. This might be your last chance to visit as a free man, so you should take advantage of every safe and sane opportunity available and not have any regrets on lost chances. Your plan is good to start simple and close to home. After a few weeks you'll have a better feel for how your budget is working out and whether you'd rather have fewer high quality experiences, many down and dirty experiences, or spend a lot of time trying to find quality on the cheap. The places like Poseidon and the member clubs are better once you've met up with some guys to hang out with anyway.

Hey brother Spanky, regarding your visits to the MP's. As brother ABC has already stated some of the MP's charge foreigners a surcharge which is generally around 1000 baht more then a Thai would have to pay. As far as I know Annies, Darlings, and Nataree don't have a surcharge. I'm not sure about CP2. Some MP's pay taxi drivers a commission for bringing them customers and guess who gets charged extra to recoop that commission? A short walk from the hotel to the MP could save your budget big time. In Poseidon, where they levy a surcharge, the price of the regular gallery girl (fish bowl) is 1,900 B, and the surcharge is 500 B (1,000B for the sideline and model category). So, the total is only 2,400 B. That's what my friend from LA got. And Poseidon certainly has more variety, plus no taxi tipping policy.

Rest asured that ya can have a good time on 2600 per day. Even if ya spend it all every day. Ya said you will probably go over tha first week then settle down a bit, so try to stick to tah resolve bro. LOS can be strangly addictive to newbies, and guess what there are alot of "newbies" still there after 10, 20, & even 30 years later. So watch out bro. bkkz, on all other lists provided on this site the surcharge is given as being 1000 B for the regular fishbowl girls. Do you intend to change these too? If that would be verified again, it would be nice news.

SC, when I first asked them, they mentioned 1,000 B. However, it may all depend on the papasan. I think he has a bit of leeway with the surcharge. I was actually surprised with only 500 B extra. Most other places charge 1,000 B, in fact, Plaza Entertainment charges as much as 1,500 B extra for their sideline girls.
